SEAN HARRIS OLIVER - Co-Artistic Director


A graduate of the Studio 58 Acting Program, Sean is a Vancouver based actor, writer and the Co-Artistic Director of Hardline Productions.  

Sean directed the company's debut production An Electrifying Evening of Sam Shepard which was a presentation of three plays by the American playwright Sam Shepard. He recently completed filming his first short film Letters From A Stone Cold Killer which he wrote and directed; the film script was short-listed for the 2012 Canadian Short Screenplay Competition.

In 2014 Sean will be working on his new play Bright Blue Future with Zee Zee Theatre and at the Playwright Theatre Centre's "Writer's Colony".

RAES CALVERT - Co-Artistic Director


Raes is a co-founder and Co-Artistic Director of Hardline Productions. Hardline acting credits include Of Mice and Men, An Electrifying Evening, Twelve Angry Men, Heptademic: Redux, Our Neighbourhood and Never Swim Alone. Raes made his directorial debut for Hardline with Cativo. Other performance credits include Are We There Yet? (Neworld Theatre), Out in the Open (Green Thumb Theatre, for which he received a Jessie nomination for Outstanding Performance in Theatre for Young Audiences), and The Number 14 (Axis Theatre).  Raes is a graduate of Studio 58. 










GENEVIEVE FLEMING - Associate Director


Genevieve's Hardline Productions credits include Of Mice and Men, CoercionNever Swim Alone, Twelve Angry Men (director); 500 Days to Mars (co-director); Letters from a Stone Cold Killer (executive producer), bash (actor); Cativo (co-writer, producer); How to Skin a CatBrother Act, If the Shoe Fits (24 Hour Play Project); and Psychic P.I. (Theatre Under the Gun). Selected theatre credits include Private Lives (Citadel Theatre), Us & Everything We Own, SubUrbia (Twenty Something), The Priory (United Players), Death of a Salesman (Playhouse), Rick: The Rick Hansen Story (MTYP/Citadel), A Christmas Carol (WTC), The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood (Carousel), Jocasta (Studio 58 / Nightswimming), and Townsville (Studio 58 / TheChop).  Selected camera credits include Supernatural (Warner Bros.), and Rain Down (Rain Down Pictures). Genevieve is a graduate of Mount Allison University and Studio 58 and is proud to be a part of Vancouver’s theatre community. CHRISTOPHER DAVID GAUTHIER Resident Designer

Christopher is the Resident Designer of Hardline Productions, for which he designed Cativo, Never Swim Alone, Bash, Twelve Angry Men, Heptademic: Redux, and An Electrifying Evening. Christopher most recently was the apprentice costume designer of Macbeth at Bard on the Beach. Other design credits include Falling in Time (Screaming Weenies), The Priory (United Players), Herr Beckman’s People (Touchstone), Munscha Mia (Carousel), As You Like It, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (Carousel & Touchstone), Hamlet, King Lear* (Honest Fishmongers, *for which he received a Jessie nomination), The Winter’s Tale and Four Play (Studio 58).  Christopher is a graduate of Studio 58.









JENN STEWART Artistic Associate


Jenn is delighted to be amongst such fine company at Hardline Productions. Trained at Studio 58 in Theatre Production, Jenn has had the pleasure of working on a range of projects: some of her favourites include Wardrobe Coordinator for Studies in Motion (Electric Company), Set Designer for Hamlet (Honest Fishmonger), Stage Manager for Townsville (TheChop/Magnetic North), Props Designer for Comment Devenir (Theatre Seizieme), and Stage Manager for Heptademic: Redux (Hardline).  Jenn has spend the past three years working on her BA in History at both the University of British Columbia and the University of Edinburgh.
